Day 1

Day 1

Alright I did it. At least I think I did. I have been wanting to start this blog for a matter of weeks. My trial ran out, so that was the first sign that I was slacking off. I don't get a lot of time to myself, these days, which may be surprising since I am 17. Yeah, I'm a teenager, all I should have is time, right? Wrong. At least not me. I keep myself busy to say the least, but it's good for me. I am now working to set aside time for myself each day, and this is where I am going to spend that time. As I'm sure I will say many times, food is a part of my life. So, I will be expressing how food affects my life each day and how I attempt to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to me where I can learn. I am excited to finally get started. You know how you get in super productive moods sometimes? This blog is the result of one of those times. For example, 2 months ago I really felt the need to redecorate my room. So, I took everything off the walls, got all my paint supplies, and started to paint my room white. Long story short, my room is now half white and half blue, and the paint is sitting in my closet. But, I figured I should try and follow through one of these times, and this is the "project" I have chosen. I think that the fact that I am having to spend money on this one, will be a motivation. All jokes aside, I am actually really excited to start this blog. I think that, as long as I keep up with it, it will be a fantastic demonstration of my growth, both as a chef and individual. I also hope that others will benefit from hearing about my journey. I want to look back on this later, when I am hopefully an accomplished chef, and see how I have grown. Thats the goal at least, to keep rising, and I'm going to do everything I can to do that. Well that's all for today. See ya.
